Senior Software Engineer

<p>Summary</p> <p>The role of the Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and maintains scalable Java-based applications and data pipelines. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, contributing directly to API development, cloud implementations, and data engineering initiatives within an agile team.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and RESTful APIs supporting business-critical systems.</li> <li>Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and integration.</li> <li>Implement and operate AWS-based cloud solutions (e.g., Lambda, S3, RDS) to support scalable services.</li> <li>Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable applications.</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of demonstrated professional Java development experience.</li> <li>3+ yrs demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.</li> <li>Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL, SQL, NoSQL).</li> <li>Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li> </ul> <p>Location Requirements</p> <ul> <li>This role is an on-site role in NYC, NY.</li> <li>To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in one of the following U.S. states: NY, NJ, or CT.</li> <li>Candidates&nbsp;residing&nbsp;outside these states are not&nbsp;currently eligible for consideration.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Applicants must&nbsp;be&nbsp;authorized&nbsp;to&nbsp;work for ANY employer in the U.S.</li> <li>We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa&nbsp;currently.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span data-contrast="auto">We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
