Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines, producing precision parts that meet or exceed customer specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in machining principles, blueprint reading, and quality inspection.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills to produce precision parts.
  • Load and unload materials and parts safely and efficiently.
  • Read and follow traveler instructions and interpret blueprints, dimensions, symbols, and notes.
  • Measure, document, and maintain inspection data for self and peers.
  • Maintain or improve established production standards.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain the work area.
  • Complete discrepant tags and communicate issues, needs, and improvement suggestions with Engineering.
  • Perform all machine setups and other functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and engineering.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, turning, twisting, bending, and stooping are essential job functions.
  • Pushing, pulling, and reaching (forward and overhead) are essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and occasionally 50–75 pounds.
