The Product Development Analyst works full-time at the Arizona Proving Ground (APG) in Wittmann, Arizona. The Product Development Analyst is responsible for conducting and overseeing test procedures, processes, and facilities for testing performed by the APG Testing Team. The Product Development Analyst will be expected to work with local employees (Ford personnel, as well as non-Ford personnel) and communicating with testing customers, engineering, management and external entities. Lead, support and conduct tests at APG, including, but not limited to AVL Coastdown Dust Fuel Economy Mileage Accumulation Pass By Noise Performance Testing Heat Management Support Off-Site Testing, including, but not limited to Arizona California Colorado Nevada Daily interface with Test Development and Calibration Engineers to review test procedures, data review, schedules, and problem diagnosis Support in the development and implementation of new or modified test procedures and methods as needed Act as the back-up for the Test Engineers as required in making job assignments for the test technicians Data acquisition Assist with repairing, setting up, and developing new systems and process enhancements Deep knowledge and understanding of the Ford proving ground processes and safety protocol both with regards to testing and the facility Extensive Ford vehicle program/component knowledge Support with new capital projects as needed and applicable Minimum High School Graduate or GED 3+ years' experience in Proving Ground vehicle testing 2+ years' experience with data acquisition systems - installation, troubleshooting, repair, etc. 1+ years working with B&K NVH data acquisition system 2+ years working with towing dynamometers - calibration and maintenance Driver Tier Certification of a Tier 2 or equivalent, but Tier 3 (preferred) 2TT Trailer Tow Training certification or equivalent (preferred) or ability to obtain 2TT CDL A driver license endorsement (preferred) ASE certification Able to travel and support off-site locations on average of 10% of the time Flexible work schedule Proficient in utilizing MS Office (Excel, Word. Outlook) Proficient in using diagnostic software and hardware including but not limited to PTDiag, MYCANIC, FDRS, Engineering Diagnostic Tool, and ATI Proficient in utilizing ELMS Proficient in utilizing diagnostic tools (DET, FDRS, PTDiag) 1+ years' experience in using Teams and SharePoint Excellent team player, with a positive attitude and outstanding interpersonal skills Solid organizational skills including proven ability to multi-task Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and develop Strong team skills and work well with a diverse group of people Ability to work independently Ability to rapidly adjust to changing requirements You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
