About this role

Responsibilities include assisting physicians in administering treatments, physical examinations, diagnostic tests and basic medical care functions with diligence, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. Provide health services and administer surveillance evaluations to company employees, recording observations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with company policy. Perform routine nursing tasks associated with medical screenings, tests, and clinical procedures. Collect appropriates samples and specimens from patients, and perform hearing and vision screening following clinical protocols. Monitor patient vitals, behaviors, and assists in medical emergencies that may occur on company premises such as accidents, injuries, sudden illnesses, etc. Follow established policies and procedures, identify roadblocks, and effectively communicate issues to the medical team's attention. Provide patient-centered care with empathy, kindness, and professionalism. Communicate health screening results, communicate physical rehabilitation programs information to patients requiring treatment, and assist with medication administration while managing medication protocols. Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with regulatory developments and infection control protocols. Support emergency procedures preparation and adherence to infection control practices. Maintain an understanding of all relevant regulatory developments defining patient privacy and medical record confidentiality, infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, accreditation Standards, etc. Work all shifts as needed, weekends as needed Established and active employee resource groups Associate's Degree in nursing 2+ years of experience in areas such as clinical occupational health nursing, urgent care, critical care, emergency room Registered Nurse (RN) Unrestricted state licensure in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Certified Occupational Health Nurse
