About this role

The SVP – Marketing Technology will serve as the strategic leader and subject matter expert for all marketing-related technology platforms and integrations within the firm. Reporting into IT, this role will partner closely with Marketing, Client Experience, and other key business units to design, implement, and optimize technology solutions that drive client acquisition, deepen relationships, and deliver measurable ROI.


The ideal candidate has both deep marketing technology expertise and strong business acumen, with a proven ability to translate marketing objectives into technical solutions.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Define and lead the firm’s marketing technology vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and IT governance.

  • Partner with Marketing leadership to identify technology needs that support brand strategy, lead generation, and client engagement.

  • Own the marketing technology roadmap, including selection and integration, of platforms.

  • Oversee the administration and optimization of CRM, marketing automation, content management systems (CMS), client portals, and analytics tools.

  • Ensure seamless integration of marketing platforms with enterprise systems, including client data warehouses and compliance tools.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to enhance personalization, analytics, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Partner with Data teams to ensure marketing data integrity, segmentation accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations.

  • Implement advanced analytics capabilities to measure marketing performance, track KPIs, and enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Establish and maintain protocols for data privacy, security, and system access in line with IT policies.

  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for marketing technology platforms.


Qualifications



  • 12+ years of experience in marketing technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably across RIA, wealth management, asset management and/or insurance environments.

  • Proven success implementing and managing enterprise-level marketing technology stacks.

  • Demonstrated experience working in Salesforce, including Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud, with a strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, CMS, analytics and personalization technologies.

  • Deep knowledge of data governance, integration architectures, and regulatory requirements in financial services.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).


This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $200,000-$250,000 base salary compensation range.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
