About this role

Position Summary


The Service Specialist is part of a dynamic team, and the role involves close teamwork and daily collaboration with the Advisor Services team.  We deliver exceptional, solutions-oriented service to independent financial advisors and oversee timely execution of operational and service requests. 


Duties may fluctuate with market volatility, seasonal volumes, and team coverage, so flexibility and the ability to work within tight deadlines will be critical.  Strong communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential to be successful in this role.


Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 day per week, or as assigned by their team leader.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment alongside a diverse group of colleagues to deliver exceptional service to financial advisors.

  • Complete account setup and maintenance on the Envestnet platform with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Process billing and fee updates on the Envestnet platform, ensuring timely and precise execution.

  • Create, update, and maintain investment models.

  • Ensure the Document Library remains current by verifying and updating all required forms and materials.

  • Partner closely with internal departments to research, resolve, and respond to inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience for advisors and their clients.

  • Effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines and service level agreements.

  • Proactively develop skills, platform knowledge, and industry understanding to continually enhance support capabilities.

  • Manage a variety of requests via email, outbound calls and the online portal.

  • Support the Service Manager team by completing report-centric tasks from internal teams and custodians.

  • Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


Qualifications 



  • Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college; or 2+ years of equivalent work experience

  • 1-2 years in the financial services industry preferred

  • Preference for prior customer-service related experience


 


The Service Specialist is a non-exempt role. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $55,000 - $60,000/year.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
