We are currently seeking experienced and talented Environmental Health and Safety Advisors to join our high performing project teams in Waltham Cross. REPORTING TO: Environmental Health and Safety Lead
Purpose of Role
The Environmental Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for establishing, developing and directing the implementation of the HS&E strategy on Projects while ensuring that a Positive Safety Culture is maintained, and that Flynn are established as industry leaders in relation to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
Role Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Guidance: Implement Flynn’s EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.
- Policies, Procedures & Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.
- Inspections, Audits & Reporting Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports.
- Risk Management & Incident Reporting: Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated.
- Training & Communication: Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.
- Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards
The Candidate
- Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.
- Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
- Full clean driver’s license preferable.
- Excellent communication skills.
