About this role

Job summary

Flowserve Etten-Leur, Pump QRC, is looking for a repair technician. We are looking for colleagues who enjoy working with their hands and ensure high satisfaction with our customers. As a Repair Technician you work on pump upgrades and overhauls for many different systems. You do this with traditional tools and materials that make it possible to work on our complex products at a high level. Your position

  • As a Repair Technician, you are involved from the start of the process, you disassemble the pump and then clean it for inspection

  • Once all parts are clean, you carry out an inspection in which you work out the findings in an inspection report. You record the dimensions according to measurement protocols.

  • After our customer has approved the offered repair, and we have received all new parts, you start assembling the pump.

  • You assemble the pump according to the drawing and instructions, which are made available according to the work package belonging to your project.

  • If required, you carry out a performance test.

Your profile

  • You have a diploma at MBO level or comparable work experience

  • 2 years of work experience in a similar position as a mechanic is desirable

  • You speak Dutch and English well

  • A Repair Technician can read and understand technical working drawings and work instructions, such as documents, safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

  • You are good at documenting your work in a concise report on the PC and transferring it to your colleagues or managers.

  • You also have a keen eye for detail and look critically at your work.
