We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Water Transfer Technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Installing and removing poly lines, laying flat hoses, transfer pumps, and other essential equipment for water transfer operations.
Safely loading and unloading pipes, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for transportation.
Monitoring machine operations and gauges, adjusting controls as needed to maintain specified conditions.
Installing and maintaining pumps and generators at job sites.
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions to operations.
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and regulations and using appropriate PPE as required for each specific job task.
Assisting in containment and cleanup of spills.
Conducting regular inspections of water transfer systems to ensure optimal performance, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and relevant operational data, contributing to ongoing process improvements and performance optimization.
Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities, staying current on industry best practices and emerging trends.
Collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication across all aspects of water transfer operations.
Utilizing common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks.
Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in water transfer operations, is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
Work is frequently performed in outdoor weather conditions, including exposure to rain, extreme cold and heat, and proximity to moving mechanical parts.
Exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is anticipated.
Exposure to noise levels necessitating the use of hearing protection.
Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to individually lift to a maximum of 100 lbs.
