Summary/Objective
The Control Valve Product and Business Development Manager is responsible for growing control valve business in Florida, sizing new applications, working with existing Florida sales team on control valve projects, be the direct point of contact for the control valve manufacture.
Essential Functions

1. Identifying customer needs and problems with a proactive approach related to control valve opportunities
2. Reviewing specifications, Quoting prices, credit terms
3. Present creative solutions to customers that provide improved performance & cost savings
4. Utilize factory sizing program to select control valves for specific applications
5. Reviewing specifications, Quoting prices, credit terms
6. Maintaining customer records using automated CRM systems (Salesforce)
7. Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing
8. Collaborating to exchange market information and selling strategies with the sales team
9. Providing regular sales forecasts and appropriate feedback from the field
10. Serves as a technical resource to customers and the Florida Outside Sales Team
11. Partner with company sales representatives and management to increase business.

3. Strong work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision.
4. Reliable and punctual
5. Able to use computer and Microsoft Suite
6. Must live in Florida east of Tallahassee
7. Willing to train the right candidate.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other team members learning about control valves.
Work Environment
This job operates in Power Generation facilities, Chemical Processing, Pulp and Paper and Aerospace facilities
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This position would require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted occasionally. Ability to climb and work on ladders and scaffolding.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, but candidate must be able to work flexible hours.
Travel
Expectation of 4-6 nights of overnight travel in Florida per month
Required Education and Experience
1. Engineering Degree Preferred
2. Previous Industrial Control Valve Experience
3. Experience in the Power Generation and Aerospace Industry
Required License and certifications
1. Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
2. Good driving record.
