Position General Summary:
The Director, Digital Strategy leads internal partners, senior leadership, and external agencies in strategic marketing planning, web implementation projects, and CRM automation across owned and paid digital channels to achieve organizational goals. The Director, Digital Strategy leads a multi-disciplinary team of digital marketers to educate and engage B2C and B2B audiences with the organization.
Essential Position Functions:
Own and drive the vision, strategy, budget, and overall long-term digital roadmap to deliver on the organization’s brand and financial growth goals
Own all aspects of vendor management for website development, including developing event management tools, customer/user forums, and eCommerce
Develop CRM program strategy and segmentation, and oversee execution including full-funnel lead generation/nurturing strategy for national B2C and B2B audiences
Ensure that the brand experience and messaging is integrated and consistent across all digital touchpoints
Develop strategic recommendations to inform marketing strategy by analyzing performance metrics including project and campaign analytics, brand metrics, web analytics, and overall return on investment for digital marketing initiatives
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop relevant messaging for new upgrades and/or changes to external facing systems (user experience) and digital marketing solutions for products and services
Lead and manage assigned direct reports for continual improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of the group, as well as ensuring team members have access to professional growth within the organization
Serve as the digital marketing subject matter expert, keeping the marketing team and key stakeholders informed of emerging digital trends, developing perspectives, and insights on how those trends impact our core strategies and offerings
Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others

Minimum Requirements:
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Master’s degree, preferred
Experience:
10+ years marketing experience
Business management, strategic marketing planning, digital marketing
5+ years supervising, managing, and/or leading others with demonstrated increase in responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's):
Knowledge of digital channels, specifically web, eCommerce, Email/CRM, digital marketing, and developing integrated marketing plans
Ability to analyze complex data sets, and develop insights and recommendations, plans of action, and formulate alternative resolutions and improvements

Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization and delegation
