Strategy & Commercial Planning Manager – Emerging Markets


Reporting to: Chief of Staff – Emerging Markets


Work Mode: Hybrid


About the Role


We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Strategy & Commercial Planning Manager – Emerging Markets based out of our India office. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis to drive Food Service sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall business performance. You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, ensuring our sales strategies are backed by data-driven decision-making. This role will be pivotal in driving structured execution, transparency, and continuous improvement across our Food Service business.


What you will do?



  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to shape and execute commercial strategies across markets

  • Own the sales forecasting and performance scorecards process to track KPIs and drive accountability

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership by using data analysis tools

  • Identify gaps in planning and execution, and lead initiatives to improve transparency and operational discipline

  • Work across time zones with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution.


So what does it make to be successful in this role?



  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen: 6–10 years of experience in FP&A, commercial strategy, or business planning in consumer-facing industries (FMCG, D2C, B2C)

  • Advanced BI & Forecasting Tools: Ability to interpret complex sales, financial, and market data using tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel

  • Analytical Leadership: Ability to challenge and validate market data by triangulating multiple sources for accuracy and insight

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong coordination with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams across multiple countries and time zones

  • Communication & Storytelling: Strong presentation skills to influence non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset : Proactive in identifying inefficiencies, driving automation, and staying updated on analytics trends and tools.
