About the position  


As a  Senior Key Account Manager at Flora, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth through strategic customer partnerships. You’ll own customer plans, build strong relationships, and deliver win-win strategies that align both Flora’s and your customer’s objectives. Your focus will be on growing the customer’s business through our portfolio, achieving ambitious growth and profitability targets, and outperforming the market. 


 


Key Accountabilities 



  • Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships between Flora and key retail customers. 



  • Drive profitable sales growth with a triple win mindset (consumer, retailer, Flora). 



  • Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with high-potential customers. 



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, category management, supply chain, and finance to optimize performance. 



  • Ensure successful launches and distribution of new products. 



  • Conduct promotional planning, including forecasting, execution, and post-evaluation. 



  • Perform promotional calculations to assess ROI and optimize promotional investments. 



  • Deliver financial analyses to support strategic decisions and improve customer profitability. 



  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve business performance with your accounts. 



  • Apply deep category and consumer insights to influence customer strategies. 



  • Ensure accurate internal and external communication and administration. 



  • Share customer insights across the organization to inform broader business strategies. 


 


So, what does it take to be successful in this role? 



  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience; a background in economics is a plus. 



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, category management, or trade marketing within retail or FMCG. 



  • Strong knowledge of the Dutch retail market is essential. 



  • Proven ability in promotional strategy, financial analysis, and customer planning. 



  • Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills and a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset. 



  • Solid understanding of business financials (P&L, value chain) and strong analytical capabilities. 



  • Fluent in Dutch and English. 



  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 



  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
