About the Role


We’re looking for a Parts Coordinator to manage the operation of our plant’s parts storeroom and ensure the availability of critical components to keep production running smoothly. Your mission: eliminate downtime caused by unavailable parts, maintain accurate inventory levels, and support maintenance projects by working closely with mechanics and planners. This role is essential to delivering results against the plant’s maintenance plan and ensuring operational efficiency.


What You’ll Do



  • Purchase, receive, and stock repair parts and operating supplies to meet plant needs.

  • Manage spare parts inventory to balance working capital and avoid unplanned downtime.

  • Operate the storeroom efficiently to provide timely service to Production and Scheduling teams.

  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner to schedule parts ordering and delivery for planned work.

  • Prioritize parts procurement for urgent repairs and unplanned downtime.

  • Control costs through effective planning, reordering, and sourcing from alternate vendors.

  • Maintain and improve the CMMS system (SAP) by creating parts records and ensuring accurate MRP data.

  • Update classification and metadata for all parts to maintain database integrity.


About You



  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in planning or inventory management.

  • Hands-on experience with computerized inventory management systems (CMMS), preferably SAP.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (and more with assistance).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments.
