About the position
Location: Athens
Join our dynamic finance team and take the lead in driving accurate, compliant, and efficient accounting operations across the board!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and month-end closing
- Handle tax accounting, including VAT, Intrastat, VIES filings
- E-books knowledge ensuring accurate reconciliation with fiscal books and reporting according to applicable accounting standards
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and external partners
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven experience in financial controlling and tax accounting in industrial and commercial companies(3-4 years)
- Understanding of e-books and related accounting principles
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with SAP and financial automation tools
