About the Role

The Student Administration Services team is growing in the world of Exams, Achievement and Graduations, and has a brand-new opening for a dynamic Student Exams, Achievement and Graduations Officer.

This exciting opportunity will contribute to the planning and delivery of student-centred support services across the student lifecycle, from enrolments through to graduations.  The role’s primary responsibility will be to provide students and staff with high quality and accurate support relating to assessment, examinations, prizes and awards processes, and will also support of a range of enrolment, assessment and graduation services and events across the University.

The position will also include working closely with the College of Medicine and Public Health to provide administrative support for the College’s Medical Progress and Block Tests, as well as providing specialised assistance and guidance for assessment-related matters.

About You

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual, with the ability to use their own initiative and judgment to solve problems and meet critical deadlines, especially during peak times.  They will hit the ground running and demonstrate the ability to foster positive relationships and provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

As well as completion of a degree and subsequent relevant work experience (or an equivalent combination), the successful candidate will also demonstrate the following key position capabilities:

  • Informed level of organisational, time and workload management skills.

  • Experience in assisting with the organisation of large-scale events.

  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and interpret data, and interpret and advise on administrative policies and procedures.

  • The ability to communicate in a professional manner with students and staff at all levels across a range of channels, e.g. face to face, telephone, email, social media.

  • Student Administration Services (SAS) provides support across the student and teaching lifecycles, from enrolments to graduation. Defined by two interconnected levels of service: the College SAS teams and the University-wide SAS teams, work collaboratively to deliver simple, timely, efficient, and innovative student administration services and advice to both students and staff.
