- Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations
- Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility
- Handles items in accordance with operating procedures
- Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required
- Operates transport vehicles both on and off property
- Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle
- Maintains vehicle mileage records
- Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary
- Informs management of all vehicle activities and issues

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed
- 0-1 years of relevant experience, required
