Job Summary

Flex automotive offers intelligent, connected automotive solutions that improve safety, increase efficiency, reduce fuel consumption such as DC/DC converters, Inverters, Battery management systems, onboard chargers.

For an awarded high voltage project we are looking for a new colleague to be in charge with system architecture, covering all the technical fields of the product.

The new colleague will be based in our Timisoara R&D office and will work together with the rest of the organization to create products for Next Gen mobility, together with Germany, Asia and North America.

What a typical day looks like:
 

  • You will act as a technical contact point for OEMs and internal stakeholders regarding system-level concepts;

  • Collaborate with Technical Design Lead and SW/HW/Mech project leads;

  • Use Enterprise Architect (EA) to model system behavior, interfaces and architecture according to MBSE practices;

  • Align architecture with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc);

  • Contribute to system integration and verification strategies, support FMEA, participate to requirements reviews;

  • Initiate the project specific architecture and design for the development object;

  • Focused on highest efficiency, highest power density and best EMC performance.


The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
 

  • Bachelor in Engineering and related engineering/technical discipline;

  • Proven experience as System Architect for similar products (Combo Unit/OBC/HV DCDC) with hardware and software background;

  • 5+ years experience in R&D in several multidiscipline projects in automotive environment;

  • Technical expertise with high voltage power electronics and/or charging systems;

  • OEM experience;

  • Understanding of vehicle use-cases;

  • Knowledge on SysML, modelling, architecture diagrams, EA;

  • Experience with Polarion or other requirements management tool;

  • Familiarity with FuSa analysis tools and methods (FTA, FMEDA);

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security ;

  • Understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
