General Labor - Assembly, Press, Loaders 2nd and 3rd shift opening

Starting pay $ 20.25

 

Overview:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Labor employees to support our manufacturing and assembly operations. This role requires the ability to follow work instructions, work at a fast pace, and maintain quality and safety standards in a team-oriented production environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow written and verbal work instructions accurately
  • Position parts according to product knowledge or work instructions
  • Fasten parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
  • Operate air tools, riveting machines, and other basic production equipment
  • Remove small quantities of metal using hand files or scrapers to ensure proper fit
  • Perform assembly tasks at the required production rate
  • Clean and inspect bumper shells and assembled components
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipping racks
  • Maintain quality standards through strong attention to detail
  • Follow all safety rules, including proper collection, disposal, and management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required

 

Job Physical Demands:

·        Must be able to lift up to 30 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

·        Must be able to lift to racks ranging from 41” – 54” from floor

·        Must be able to perform frequent horizontal reaching, occasional bending and/or squatting and constant walking on concrete floors

·        Shift is 8 hours.  May work overtime up to 10-12 hours.  Two 10-minute breaks/shift and 20-minute meal break
