Job Title

About your role:
You will be a key leader in our organization, overseeing a talented software development team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software solutions for Fiserv’s Output Solutions. In this role, you will drive the development strategy and ensure alignment with our company's goals and objectives. With production capabilities leading the industry in credit card personalization, you will harness multiple technologies and software to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and manage a group of 15 distributed software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive high performance.
• Develop and implement software development processes, standards, and best practices to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and IT, to define software requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development practices and technologies.
• Manage software development projects, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to make recommendations for software architecture and development tools.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience as a people manager.
• Proven track record of leading successful software development projects from conception to delivery.
• Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and software architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in credit card personalization or output services industry.
• Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
• Experience working in Agile development environment.

How you’ll work

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in‑person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in‑person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Travel

• Approximately 10% of travel off‑site or to other office locations is expected.

Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
