Job Title

At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineer – Senior Professional I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with the business goals of Fiserv and client needs.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of software applications to support the business goals of Fiserv.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write, test and debug code to ensure applications meet performance and quality standards.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to strengthen team capability.

Experience you'll need to have:

• Proven experience in software development.
• Experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• An equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military service.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry.
