Network Engineer(Routing,Switching) -24/7 - Rotational Shifts

About the Team:

The Leveraged NOC is responsible for any non-transactional or banking traffic (user, replication, etc) within the data centre. Any time connectivity is lost, it is the Leveraged NOC’s responsibility to ensure rapid troubleshooting and carrier escalation takes place. The Leveraged NOC works with multiple technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Citrix to name a few. From time to time, the Leveraged NOC will also be responsible to make corrective changes in the event of an outage.

What you will be doing:

  • Primary role would be to ensure effective design and develop, validate and support activities, to assure that FIS client/s are satisfied with high level of service in the technology domain.

  • Work closely with members of the sales Team/Product teams and engineering teams in developing newer solutions and automation.

  • Gather the requirement and specification to understand the client requirement in a detailed manner and translate the same into system requirements.

  • You will play a key role in the overall estimation of work requirements to provide the right information on project estimations to technology leads and project managers.

  • Mapping customer requirements and proposing a technically viable solution or service from within the company is offering.

  • Improving customer go-live effectiveness through domain expertise, product knowledge, requirement gathering and solution design

What you bring:

  • 2 to 5  years of experience in Leveraged NOC will support this function by monitoring all devices from Edge routers down to the core to ensure stability. Experience of Routing, Switching & Firewalls troubleshooting load balancer and in Network Management Tools.

  • Experience of F5 troubleshooting Experience of Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Big IP F5 products etc.

  • Ready to work in 24X7 rotational shifts

  • Experience of working within a Network enterprise environment

Added bonus if you have:

  • Preferable Certifications – JNCIA etc.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development

  • Knowledge of FIS’ products and services Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
