Linux Administrator with AIX – 24/7 Rotational Shifts

About the team:

Team is a dedicated group of professionals responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

What you will be doing

• Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
•  Controls user access and passwords.
• Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.
• Monitors usage and performance. Trains personnel on system usage.
• Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
• Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
• Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
  Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.
• Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.

• Should be Willing to work on 24/7 Rotational shifts.

What you bring

• 4 to 6  Years exp in UNIX / Linux Administration.
• Experienced in Troubleshooting, Patching, Configuration, performance tuning on Linux and system software & hardware.
• Administration & Troubleshooting Pacemaker cluster
• Knowledge on OpenShift tasks like Patching, Troubleshooting, Gloster Administration.
• Experience in Package management using RPM, YUM, SATELITE in Red Hat Linux.
• Managing, troubleshooting, and resolving Incidents/Issues as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA, RCA) with frequent updates.
• Experience in Creating and maintaining user accounts, profiles, security, rights, Quotas, and process monitoring.
• Creating, cloning Linux Virtual Machines, templates using VMware ESXi & Virtualization environments.
• Experience in Installation of VMware ESX server and creation of VMs and install different guest OS.
• Proficient in patching level issues, support required for any issues during the patching
• Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs
• Following Standard Operating Procedures for BAU support, Build, configure and maintain all applicable Servers
