Are you someone who can:
- Provide IT expertise and support in accordance with agreed framework of programming standards.
- Develop, maintain and enhance existing systems as per required specifications and to provide input into programming standards.
- Deliver high-quality software solutions within agreed timelines.
- Build unit and systems tests to ensure successful delivery of software solutions
- Support development environments.
- Mitigate potential risks within the IT programming environment by complying with technology business policy and process requirements (SDLC and change/release management process definition) to ensure operational performance.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate and needed.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Have a relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, B.Eng, BSC Eng, BSC Informatics or related degree.
- Have 5 years or more of related experience.
- Experience with one or more programming language such as Java or .NET
- Experience with container orchestration tools
- Experience with microservices architecture and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with PostgreSQL and or Microsoft SQL Server
