Responsibilities
Ultrasound Tech Job Summary
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including general, OB/GYN, vascular, and small-parts studies, following established protocols.
- Ensure quality imaging and patient safety while maintaining excellent patient care and communication.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, technologist, and nursing staff to deliver timely and accurate results.
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies, infection control, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
Ultrasound Tech Qualifications
- Current ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification or registry-eligible
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in hospital or outpatient imaging environment preferred
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
