Overview

Observation RN

 

Observation Unit is a 24-bed rapid paced, medical, and surgical unit that provides high quality care for patients who require active and focused management during an expected length of stay between 8 and 48 hours. The unit focuses on managing patients such as chest pain, CHF, TIA and specific surgical patients according to evidence based, diagnosis specific protocols based.

Virtual Nursing:
Provides a comprehensive virtual technology platform that provides a partner in care to support 24/7 nursing care and complex patient needs in collaboration with the direct care nurse. The virtual nurse removes the administrative burden of the direct care nurse and allows you to focus on what matters – the patient!

Qualifications

RN with Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required. Experience required.BLS required.

 

To develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession, employees who begin employment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in a position that requires a registered nurse must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date.
