Position Summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a nationally recognized health care system located in central North Carolina. Responsibilities

Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) Job Summary

  • Will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and the development and implementation of a Respiratory Care Plan based on Clinical Practice Guidelines. 

Qualifications

Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred. 
  • Minimum one year of clinical Respiratory care experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
  • Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include: ACLS, PALS and NRP.
  • NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
