PRN OB Hospitalist needed for established OB Hospitalist Service in Pinehurst, NC

Position Highlights
- Practice at FirstHealth’s flagship hospital (402 beds) in Pinehurst, NC.
- Integrated care team offers comprehensive maternity services in a compassionate, warm, and comfortable environment.
- 24-hour in-house shifts available.
- Join a team of OB Hospitalists, community OB/GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, Neonatologist, and a great surgical support team.
- Our Women’s and Children’s Center has 9 labor rooms and 10 triage rooms.
- Approximately 3,000 deliveries per year and trending upward.
- Perform deliveries, OB triage, inpatient/ER consults, emergent GYN surgeries.
- Deliver high quality care ranging from routine obstetrical and gynecologic services to high-risk procedures with the support of a multidisciplinary team.
- Family-centered approach allows baby and mom to stay together in a private group; same nurse team cares for mom and baby.
- Mother/baby services include lactation consult, new mother support group, post-partum depression care, massage, and fitness.

Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA-certified OBGYN residency program and board certification/eligibility required.
- Clean background, NC licensure and NC DEA required. AHA BLS required, ACLS preferred.
