Job Description:

Facility: First PREMIER Bank
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Status: 90-day internship

About the Internship
To be successful in this role the candidate must be a collaborative team player with an ability to interact with team members. Genuine interest in financial modeling & analysis, coupled with strong skills in Math and Statistics and background in SQL, EXCEL, Power Point and data analysis are important. A pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, finance, or a quantitative data analysis degree is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with the Manager, team of Analysts of Financial Modeling and Analysis and Finance Direct to understand the financial modeling and analysis needs
• Assist with the design and development of financial models as directed by the Manager
• Analyze, interpret model output.
• Prepare analysis and reporting
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to improve financial performance
• Document assumptions and model procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Applicant should be enrolled in or pursuing higher education
• Possess intermediate PC skills
• Ability to be patient and attentive to detail
• Excellent verbal and listening skills and ability to use positive language
• Time management skills
• Ability to work independently and highly motivated.
• Team player
• SQL and Python skills preferred
