Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

About the Role
Responsible for the overall coordination and management of the Analytics Department within the Card Services vertical.  Determines the most effective method(s) for completion of multiple analytical, MIS, tracking/reporting processes, and operational and business support.  Establishes and ensures adherence to department guidelines, policies, and procedures and assists in developing department budget. Provides supervision of personnel and administration of staff.  Oversee the preparation and analysis of department performance. Presents information to senior management and makes day-to-day decisions that affect results.  Identify, analyze, and test business opportunities at the department and business level to drive and influence change of the organization.


Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Manage budget and department variances.
    • Ensure departmental guidelines, policies and procedures are current and adhered to by staff. Includes maintaining regulatory compliance.
    • Oversee department staffing and turnover, ensuring staffing needs are adequate.
    • Oversee supervision of staff, conduct performance and salary reviews.
    • Assist with the development of cost efficient and profitable strategies.
    • Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of assigned department(s), KPI’s, processes and/or tasks through appropriate reporting mechanisms.
    • Identify process improvements and coordinate implementation.
    • Work in coordination with other departments to achieve division goals.
    • Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.
    • Respond to audits and data requests related to examiner questions, requests, and reviews. Support responses to internal audits and regulatory exams.
    • Assist in the management and oversight of vendor partnerships as applicable.
    • Develop, present, and implement strategic recommendations & business initiatives.


Skills and Qualifications 

  • Guides and motivates teams while making strategic decisions that influence departmental and organizational outcomes.
  • Applies data-driven methods to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and support business decisions.
  • Clearly conveys complex information across all organizational levels through verbal and written channels.
  • Quickly learns new concepts, adjusts to change, and continuously improves personal and team capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Data Science, Analytics, or related fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or Business Administration.
  • Advanced degree or a combination of education and relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience preferred, with credit card industry or applicable business experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred, along with a basic understanding of credit card systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS (or equivalent languages such as Python or R) is required; experience with Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
