FCU Community Financial is looking for a team-oriented individual to assist our members in achieving their financial goals as a permanent, casual Financial Services Representative at our Union Bay and Bowser Branches.

This is a casual position supporting coverage at our Bowser and Union Bay Branches, requiring Monday through Saturday availability.

Major Responsibilities: 

• Providing an exceptional member experience by proactively engaging with members to understand and meet their immediate day-to-day banking needs by identifying the products and services that will benefit them.
• Completing financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments and/or other account transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Transforming the member experience by educating them on our mobile tools and resources.
• Assisting other team members and completing other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability: 

• High School Diploma (preference will be given for post-secondary education).
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service (retail, hospitality, and or financial industry). 
• Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus and the ability to multitask. 
• Knowledge of deposit and lending products and services is preferred.
• Effective listening skills.
• Successful relationship-building skills.
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and cooperation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• A proven ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with or without a calculator.
• Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential attributes.
