What You'll Do:
Compare financial records: Reconciliation specialists examine a company's escrow accounting records, such as ledgers and bank statements, to ensure they match
Identify discrepancies: They look for any inconsistencies or errors between different financial sources
Investigate and resolve: When discrepancies are found, they investigate the causes and work with clients to resolve them
Ensure accuracy: Their primary goal is to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data
What You'll Bring:
5-7 years of directly relevant reconciliation, accounting, or audit work experience, mortgage or title insurance industry preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and demonstrate the ability to learn custom applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounting principles
Experience with financial software a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
