About this role

This role is responsible for ensuring the continuous health, performance, and reliability of cloud-based and external-facing applications through proactive monitoring, incident response, and operational excellence. The position involves managing alerts, performing deployments across multi‑cloud environments, handling SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles, and conducting initial troubleshooting with timely escalations based on established runbooks. This role also contributes to problem management by analyzing incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures while generating performance reports for leadership insights. Success in this role requires strong scripting and automation capabilities, adherence to security and compliance standards, and effective coordination during incident bridge calls and NOC communications. Operating in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, the role demands strong analytical skills, deep understanding of ITIL processes, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain seamless operational stability. This role is currently remote, and the position's core hours are North American.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with deployment tools and cloud automation.
  • Proficiency in SSL certificate management and vendor coordination.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, KQL etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Site24*7, Manage Engine, CloudWatch, or similar).
  • Ability to analyze incidents, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational 24/7 shifts.
Key Qualifications:
  • Monitor application and infrastructure alerts using various monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and performance.
  • Analyzing and overseeing external-facing applications and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform deployment activities across multiple cloud platforms using industry-standard tools.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, including procurement, installation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct initial troubleshooting and escalate issues as per defined runbooks and procedures.
  • Collaborate with problem management teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Generate performance analysis reports for incidents and provide insights to IT management.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine operational tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across cloud and infrastructure environments.
  • Work in rotational 24/7 shifts to support continuous operations and incident response.
  • Facilitating incident management bridge calls with support teams, on‑call application teams, and management.
  • Issuing NOC notifications, summarizing issues, and collaborating with problem management teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Applying analytical thinking to troubleshoot complex technical issues Using logs, metrics, and dashboards to derive actionable insights.
  • Identifying recurring issues and recommending preventive measures.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA.
  • Prior experience in NOC or IT Operations role with exposure to enterprise-scale environments.
