About this role
We are looking for a Head of Data Partnerships with 5+ years of experience to build our data partnership strategy from the ground up. We are looking for a proven dealmaker with a deep understanding of the AI landscape and existing relationships in media, tech, or platform companies. This person will be crucial in unlocking access to the world's most valuable data for Firecrawl by negotiating complex data and content licensing agreements.What will you be doing?Identify, pursue, and close strategic partnerships with major content owners, media companies (e.g., NYT, WaPo), and scientific/academic journals (e.g., Elsevier, Springer Nature).Negotiate high-stakes data and content licensing agreements, managing the full deal cycle from sourcing to close.Build and leverage a network of senior decision-makers across legal, BD, and product teams at target organizations.Develop and execute the partnership strategy from scratch, defining who to target and why.Work directly with the CEO to shape what Firecrawl can offer and how the product evolves based on the data access you unlock.
