About this role

The Opportunity — Building Technical Hiring InfrastructureBuilding a high-calibre engineering organisation is one of our top priorities as we expand into new states and our technical surface area grows.You’ll be one of the first dedicated recruiting hires focused on engineering. You’ll run searches end-to-end, build the systems that keep the bar high as we scale, and create a consistent outbound engine. The initial focus is engineering hiring across AI/ML, infra, backend, full stack, data, and engineering leadership. As the company grows, you may pick up product and design hiring too.This role is designed for someone who takes pride in building repeatable hiring systems, enjoys working directly with deeply technical teams, and is comfortable carrying ambitious hiring targets.What will you be doing?Own the full-cycle recruiting process for product and engineering roles, from intake and sourcing to offer and close.Develop and execute a sustainable outbound sourcing engine to attract high-caliber technical candidates and reduce agency dependency.Partner with engineering leadership to define roles, design interview loops, and ensure a consistently high hiring bar as the company scales.Improve and refine the recruiting process to create a high-touch, seamless, and exceptional candidate experience.Take ownership of building the foundation of the recruiting function, including maintaining clean data in Ashby to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
