Job Description:
Major Job Functions
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs in a field environment
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
Specific Skills & Experience
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (Interprovincial Red Seal preferred)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience, specifically on CAT equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
- Experience with Power Systems and/or Marine equipment is an asset.
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
- Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
This role will be working in the field, primarily in Sechelt and surrounding area.
Important Details
- Please be advised, the successful candidate for this position will reside in Sechelt/Sunshine Coast
- A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
- Drevers’ Abstract (5 year)
