Using the technical expertise in this role to inspect parts for re-usability, dismantle equipment, repair or rebuild components, attachments, etc., based on anticipated potential market demand
Various power systems-related work including repairs/rebuilds on well servicing engines, transmissions and gas compression engines
Journeyperson Red Seal Technician certification required
Dedication to safety
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
An entrepreneurial business spirit to work with the mgmt. & sales team to identify and priorities work that will lead to greater sales and/or profit is an asset in this role
Note:
This position operates on a 5x2 schedule, based out of our Red Deer facility
Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the collective agreement
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
