What You Will Do
Build meaningful relationships with assigned owner-operators and growing contractors within the Retail and Small Core customer segments by understanding their business priorities and delivering customized parts and service solutions.
Proactively engage customers to uncover needs, position value-driven recommendations, and demonstrate the full advantage of partnering with Finning.
Leverage digital tools and data to identify opportunities, support sales activities, and open new pathways to serve your customers.
Develop strategic call plans and account strategies to strengthen customer engagement, drive revenue, and support long-term loyalty.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, equipment population, and sales opportunities within Saleslink.
Collaborate with product support, equipment sales, and service teams to ensure a seamless and coordinated customer experience.
You will spend most of your day in your local facility or meeting directly with customers, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement.
Skills You Bring
A strong sales and customer service mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence in customer-facing, consultative selling situations
Ability to navigate complex needs and deliver practical, value-driven solutions
Familiarity with parts systems, undercarriage measurement, and heavy equipment terminology (training provided)
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry
7+ years in sales or customer-facing roles with proven success
Parts Ticket required; Finning experience preferred
Comfortable using digital platforms and tools that support parts sales
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills such as undercarriage measuring
