Job Details 

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, motivated and committed staff member to work with young people from ages of 9 - 12 14 years.  Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.  The person should be able to plan and organise team games and physical activities that will engage young people.  You will be part of a team across the North East Fife area that deliver activities and learning opportunities in youth club settings.  Working as a team to plan, organise and deliver a range of activities and engaging young people in opportunities to learn and grow, whilst being supported to engage in issues and themes that are relevant to them and the local communities they live. 

 

  • Your responsibilities include engaging with young people to plan, deliver learning programmes  

  • Promoting positive health and well-being messages 

  • Attend relevant training and staff meetings 

  • Plan and deliver weekly active and physical activities that will engage young people aged 9-14 years 

  • Evening work for 2 hours per week during term-time  

  • Attend relevant training and staff meetings 

The Person 

  • Good organisational skills, ability to plan and deliver physical and learning activities with young people. 

  • Experience of working with young people in a sports or learning environment would be an advantage 

  • Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership / Enhanced Disclosure/Standard Disclosure/Basic Disclosure through Disclosure Scotland 

  • Willing to travel in North East Fife
