This role is based within Business Technology Solutions (BTS) and is a full-time position working 36 hours per week.
You will earn a competitive salary of £33,732.26 to £41,972.91 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits including local and national discounts for supermarkets, restaurants, and retail.
An exciting opportunity to join the Collaboration and Productivity Solutions (CaPS) Competency Centre in BTS, and work with Microsoft technologies to deliver savings and efficiencies across the Council.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that harness the full potential of Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, streamline workflows, and create custom applications that enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:-
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into effective Power Platform solutions.
Oversee the development and implementation of Power Platform solutions
Integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems and data sources.
Implement security measures and governance policies to ensure the integrity of Power Platform applications.
Provide support to end-users for effective adoption of Power Platform solutions.
Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Participate in the continuous improvement of Power Platform applications based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
The Person
Educated to SCQF level 7 which includes HNC or Advanced Highers or equivalent vocational accreditation in a computing / systems or related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience in the design and use of IT solutions and tools that meet business needs.
Ability to translate logical designs into physical solutions.
Experience in the production of clear and detailed documentation for customers and colleagues.
Requires the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and work independently as needed, depending on the nature of the tasks.
Demonstrate a commitment to fostering continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest features, and adhering to best practices within the Power Platform.
