If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of mobile cleaners within Fife. We currently have a permanent vacancy covering Dunfermline High School and the surrounding area, working 20 hours, Monday to Friday 40 weeks per year, as required.
Mobile Cleaner – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday as required, 40-week contract. Working between 3:30pm to 7:30pm as required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
Pay is 4 weekly.

This work is about ensuring staff and pupils can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate
The Person
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current Driving Licence is desirable.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
