Job Details
You’ll work as a document controller within Fife Council’s Data Quality and Standards team. Every day, you’ll be responsible for collecting, organising, storing, and sharing technical documents including drawings, manuals, 3D models, and certification, all in line with ISO 19650 standards. You’ll work closely with the BIM Manager and project teams to ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and available when needed.
The Person
Educated to SCQF level 7, which includes an HNC or equivalent, in a technical discipline.
Experience in construction, engineering, or a technical discipline.
Knowledge of ISO 19650 or similar standards.
Proven ability to work to deadlines, and to provide clear, accurate documentation.
Strong communication skills. You’ll need to persuade, advise, and listen to colleagues and stakeholders.
You’ll need to be able to work independently and with others, and on occasion travel within Fife.
