Fidelity National Financial - Florida Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Escrow Assistant to support our Commercial Closing Department in Maitland, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of title insurance, closing, and post-closing processes. This role involves working closely with closers, attorneys, underwriters, and clients on commercial transactions across the nation. The position is versatile and offers a great opportunity to grow within the department.
Candidate will assist Escrow Closers with the real estate closing process, including opening orders, sending out title work, reviewing and processing closing document packages for recording, preparing invoices, processing title insurance premiums, and typing policies.
Associate’s degree or higher, preferred.Paralegal certification or relevant degree a plus.
Experience with closings and preparing/revising title commitments, proformas, and policies is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Ram Quest, Soft-Pro, a plus.
Requirements:
Ability to work in the Maitland, Florida office. Possible Hybrid position for the right candidate Review draft closing documents, including deeds and affidavits, for accuracy and completeness.Address inquiries from internal counsel and other departments.Support the escrow officer with closings, post-closings, and recording. Strong organizational and communication skills.Self-motivated, dependable, professional, and committed to high-quality work. Collaborative team player with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.Ability to read and interpret land surveys is a plus.
