Position Description:

Directly influences product delivery leaders and subject matters to decide, refine, and realize technical outcomes by managing technology Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Devises strategies to transform data from data repositories into information, to meet analytic requirements. Influences corporate direction on analytic road maps that include technology, tools, data enhancements, and process improvements. Creates business-relevant tools and analytics that provide the framework and insights for improved results in new product development, customer growth, and product profitability. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic program management that accelerates Fidelity’s technology strategy.

  • Collaborates with leaders to identify, analyze, track, report, and strategize around key measurements and prioritization.

  • Leads technical projects and programs that require immediate attention.

  • Leads assessment, plans, coordinates, and executes technology projects.

  • Leads a complex program and meets aggressive timelines.

  • Interacts, facilitates strategic dialogue, and partners with various levels of senior and executive leadership.

  • Quickly synergizes information and effectively translates into concise messaging and actions.

  • Analyzes and transforms data for reporting and analytic needs.

  • Confers with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.

  • Develops or updates project plans for information technology projects including information -- project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.

  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,  or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing product management through Agile or Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approaches within an enterprise-scale hybrid Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment. 

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,  or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, IT Product Management  (or closely related occupation) performing product management through Agile or Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approaches within an enterprise-scale hybrid Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) leading and managing end-to-end, enterprise-level platform foundation technology programs to ensure risk and audit compliance across a hybrid AWS Cloud environment;  overseeing project roadmaps, deliverables, and executive-level stakeholder expectations across cross-functional teams, using Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence, in a mixed Waterfall and Agile environment; and providing strategic direction, driving innovation, and delivering scalable, Cloud-native technology solutions, using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, AWS, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins and GitHub), to drive large-scale initiatives and enable Cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery of enterprise systems.  

  • DE building robust analytical data solutions that support strategic decision-making and compliance, using Jira, Jira Align, and Service Now; delivering real-time compliance posture and risk metrics through Business intelligence (BI) tools (Power BI and Tableau), data platforms (Snowflake), and data integration technologies (SQL, Python, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)); and implementing data governance frameworks and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security of reporting through Agile project management practices. 

  • DE breaking down regulatory compliance program requirements into clear, concise, and actionable work items for development teams operating in a highly regulated, enterprise-scale hybrid AWS Cloud environment; defining business value, non-functional requirements, and data visualization and validation strategies using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Miro; and delivering secure, scalable, Cloud-native data solutions using Agile and SAFe methodologies. 

  • DE providing data driven recommendations on control effectiveness, audit readiness, and remediation prioritization using Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform (Archer), analytics tools (ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx), and  road mapping solutions (Jira, Confluence, and Miro); and ensuring data driven prioritization of high impact compliance initiatives (automated control monitoring and continuous audit workflows) align with regulatory mandates and enterprise strategic goals, using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
