About the role

As Accounts Payable Lead, this position will support and lead the accounts payable function across both Finance and Development teams, working closely with Business & Operations teams in the different countries where we operate.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company at a high-growth stage, taking ownership of the accounts payable function, driving process improvements, and acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development payment process for our Fever Originals projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own the end-to-end development payment process for our Fever Originals projects.


• Act as the main point of contact for Project Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of development payments.


• Oversee onboarding and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls and local regulations.


• Support and coordinate month-end closing and financial reporting activities related to accounts payable.


• Partner with key internal teams (Business, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and Sales) to ensure smooth execution of payments and proactive issue resolution.


• Identify, propose, and drive process improvements, including performance optimization and technology-based enhancements.


• Provide guidance and functional leadership within the Accounts Payable area, ensuring best practices and consistency across regions.

This position is located in Madrid (Spain).

About You

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting, with strong exposure to Accounts Payable and ownership of processes.


• Proven experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing complex payment workflows.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English, with bilingual Spanish.


• Ability to work autonomously while leading initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams.


• Preferred Qualifications


• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and database management.


• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.


• Experience with Microsoft Navision, databases, or data mining is a plus.


• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, drive improvements, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


• Previous experience mentoring or leading initiatives within an Accounts Payable or Finance function is highly valued.
