About this role

Do you want to work in a clean, air-conditioned, heated, state-of-the-art automated manufacturing facility with a great working environment?

Feuer powertrain North America:

We are the US subsidiary of a German-based leading independent producer of crankshafts, "the heart of every engine."

In Europe, we produce crankshafts for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW, Audi, Renault, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and many more.

In North America, we produce crankshafts for GM, Ford, Mercury and many more.

We are now expanding our plant to a new 2nd line.

We are hiring immediately.

Pay, Benefits, Working Conditions, Training, Advancement:

Pay- We pay $15 to $35 per hour based on experience.

Benefits- We pay 85% of our employees' health, dental and vision insurance and 100% of life insurance and short-term disability. We have a 401k with a 5% match. We provide PTO available after 30 days of employment.

Working Conditions: Clean, air-conditioned, heated, state-of-the-art automated manufacturing environment. A great working environment and place to work.

Training- For employees willing to work hard and move up, we offer 7 levels of training and 7 pay levels for advancement.

Advancement: We prefer to train and promote from within the company.

Material Handler

SUMMARY:

The Material Handler will ensure that the quality and quantity of packaged goods conforms to the company's and customer's standards before shipment. They will aid in the stacking, packing, and transportation of parts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stack and pile finished goods into containers.
  • Prepare goods for shipment.
  • Pack them following a specific set of instructions.
  • Clean and prepare containers for packing.
  • Check to ensure containers are damage free.
  • Verify if items pulled out of package are correct.
  • Fill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product count.
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials
  • Review packing lists.
  • Seal, label, and tag containers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 1 years of boxing / packing experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • Education: High School
  • Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Able to stand the majority of the shift to perform duties (12 hours max)

About FEUER-USA

FEUER powertrain North America, Inc. is a crankshaft machining company and a subsidiary of FEUER powertrain GmbH & Co. KG based out of Nordhausen Germany. The facility in Tunica County, Mississippi is the first production facility built by FEUER outside of Germany.

The initial project slated for the Tunica Plant is a 5.0L V8 diesel crankshaft to be supplied to a North American Customer. However, the actual production line built is a duplicate of a production facility already built in Germany and is flexible enough to produce crankshafts from 3 cylinders to 12 cylinders.
