Ferring+You
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and optimizing logistics operations across the UK & Ireland. This includes managing inbound, warehousing activities, inventory, outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with GxP standards. The role involves close coordination of 3/4PL partners, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders.
The role reports directly to the UK&I Finance Director.
Your day at Ferring
Inbound Logistics:
Monitor and coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers and manufacturing sites.
Ensure timely receipt and accurate documentation of goods.
Liaise with customs and regulatory bodies when required.
Warehousing Operations:
Oversee daily warehouse activities (3/4 PL partners)
Ensure GxP compliance in all warehousing processes.
Implement and maintain SOPs for storage, handling, and distribution.
Outbound Logistics:
Oversees the execution of outbound deliveries to customers and distributors.
Coordinate with 3PL to ensure timely and compliant shipments.
Track and resolve delivery issues and delays.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Analyse stock levels and coordinate replenishments.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Returns Coordination:
Manage the return process for damaged, expired, or recalled products.
Ensure proper documentation and disposition of returned goods.
Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams for compliant handling.
3/4PL Follow-Up:
Act as the key point of contact for 4PL logistics partners.
Monitor KPIs, cost and service levels, ensuring continuous improvement.
Coordinate transportation planning and execution across the region.
Lead monthly business reviews.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain coordination, in a regulated (GxP) environment (pharma preferred).
Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory systems, and transportation management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Strong IT skills with experience with SAP S4/Hana, MS Office suite, PowerBI.
