Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team!

Position Details:

Location | Onsite - Miami, FL

Schedule | Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with a rotating Saturday Shift 8:00am to 12:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
  • Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
  • Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
  • Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsabilidades:

  • Construir, envolver, clasificar y transportar paletas/estibas y paquetes.
  • Utilizar tecnología como dispositivos (RF) para clasificar, escanear y preparar pedidos.
  • Recibir, verificar, organizar y almacenar con precisión y puntualidad todo el material entrante.
  • Mantener limpio el espacio de trabajo y participar con el equipo en mantener nuestras instalaciones limpias, seguras y libres de accidentes.
  • Debe cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad, incluido el uso correcto del equipo de protección individual (EPI). Esto incluye el uso de un arnés de seguridad con una capacidad máxima de 181 kg (400 lb).

Requisitos

  • 0-3 años de experiencia en bodega en envío, recepción, entrega o gestión de inventarios.
  • Alta atención al detalle.
  • Estar cómodo en un ambiente rápido y cambiante.
  • Actitud positiva, confiabilidad y ética laboral fuerte.
  • Autónomo con capacidad para aprender rápidamente nuestros sistemas.

  • Capacidad para levantar objetos que pesen hasta 50 libras regularmente.
  • Conocimiento de regulaciones y procedimientos de seguridad.
