Yard utility operators provide general assistance to wherever it may be needed in the production area while maintaining the safety of themselves and anyone around them.
Position Snapshot:
- Day shift schedule, Monday - Friday.
- Benefits and 401k options.
- Will use numerous types of equipment to move salvaged vehicles throughout the yard.
- Will weld different types of stands.
- Maintains cleanliness of the facility through sweeping designated areas, emptying and sorting of core bins, processing of aluminum, copper, brass and other precious metals, packaging and weighing of core batteries, and removal of Freon from scrap refrigeration units.
- Will operate a forklift and small equipment.
- Will respond to various types of customer requests.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with forklift and small equipment operation, previous heavy equipment operating, general maintenance and understanding of mechanical equipment
- Automotive Parts experience
- Basic computer skills
