Housekeeper

Are you passionate about creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for seniors? We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team at Fellowship Square, a welcoming and supportive senior living facility. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents while contributing to a clean and well-maintained facility.

This position is in Assisted Living

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms.
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of dining areas, hallways, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Manage cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety and health protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Provide exceptional service to residents and staff while maintaining respect for their privacy and comfort.
• Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and personal items.
• Report any concerns or issues related to the facility’s cleanliness and resident needs to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in a senior living facility, healthcare setting, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull items of at least 25 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Must be able to possess a Level One Fingerprint Card.
• Must have a TB - Can get at community.
